- A hot-spring inn with a spectacular view

Yunogo Saigakukan is a hot spring inn located in a perfect
location overlooking Mt. Yufudake.
It all started when Kamenosuke Fuchigami, my father, came across a magnificent view of Yufudake soaring across the forest of Unagi-Hime Shrine one day about 50 years ago.
Driven by this desire, he decided to build a ryokan on the spot where he had fallen in love at first sight.
At the time, Yufuin Onsen was not yet well known throughout Japan, and the senior members of the ryokan association were promoting their business by writing on their business cards that they were "Beppu’s back seat."
Nevertheless, Kamenosuke was strongly attracted to the natural beauty of the area and its hot springs, and it took 20 years from the purchase of the land to the actual opening of the ryokan.
In 1999, he opened Yufunogo Saigakukan in this very location, which still welcomes guests today with its seasonal scenery.

Even though times have changed, what we cherish above all else is the family motto left by our grandfather, Tetsuro Fuchigami:
"We must be kind to others."
Based on this spirit, we have adopted "Kindness" as our corporate philosophy and named our company KIND CORPORATION.
